The SlopesMobile is the University of Utah’s dedicated student transportation to the slopes of Utah.

Get the most out of your college experience by hitching a ride on one of our four scheduled outings for 2026. Only $10 round trip!

Ticket Details

  • Students must pre-register and pay the ticket fee no later than 4pm the day prior to departure.
  • Transportation is round trip and includes a seat, storage for your skis/board and gear. You cannot bring additional gear with you.
  • Tickets for the SlopesMobile do not include any costs associated with purchasing a lift ticket or equipment, students must procure their own lift ticket or pass.
  • Ticket swap: Want to give your ticket to another student? Email belong@utah.edu with everyone’s UID, full name, email address and phone number. We’ll take it from there.
  • Ticket refunds: Request for refunds will be accepted up to 3 days before travel day (that’s the Wednesday before).
  • All students must be checked in at the SlopesMobile 15 minutes prior to departure. The bus will not wait for you.
  • If students decide not to return to campus via the SlopesMobile they must notify the staff member no later than 2pm the day of the trip.

Policies

  • Only current University of Utah students, 18+ and with a valid UID can sign up, purchase and get a ride on the SlopesMobile. Non-University of Utah students, U of U faculty and staff are not permitted, at this time, to purchase tickets.

  • The bus driver and the SlopesMobile staff member reserves the right to ask any student to leave due to violence, excessive noise, inappropriate behavior, possession or consumption of alcohol or illegal substances.

  • In the event of inclement weather, an email and text will be sent by 6am on the day of travel indicating cancellation or delay to the information provide in your registration. Tickets for any cancelled days may be applied to a future date.

  • All University of Utah code of conduct policies are in effect while on the SlopesMobile.

  • University of Utah is not liable for any equipment or belongings left on or damaged while on the SlopesMobile or while at the resort.

  • So. Many. Options. Find someone who can’t go and buy, barter or steal their seat (see info below on how to transfer a ticket), sign up for a different date, hope for the best, carpool with someone else.

  • Not this year. Currently the SlopesMobile is only open to current University of Utah students with a valid UID.

  • You have two options:

    1. You can transfer your seat to another University of Utah student by emailing the following information to belong@utah.edu:

    a) Your full name, UID and phone number
    b) Your replacements full name, UID, email and phone number

    2. You can request a refund by emailing belong@utah.edu. Refunds will be minus the credit card and registration processing fees. Refund deadline: Wednesday before departure

  • Yes, please be respectful and clean up after yourself.
